Detections is performed by selecting the other-the-noise pixels and setting the center of mass as their position. A specificity of I-SPT is that the parameter of detection are computed along the whole movie and not on a single frame.

I-SPT provides the relative density of detections. Relative density of detections shall always be lower than 1 / µm² / s.
