Database access rights can be set for individual users. As we mentioned above, there are two types of protection:
Any number of database user accounts can be created. Then you can connect to a database by the user name and password.
User permissions to databases can be set for different MS Windows users. The access to a database is then granted if only the user is currently logged in Windows.
Both protection types can be combined in one database. To manage the user accounts and permissions of a connected database:

You have to be connected to the database under an account with sufficient user rights.
Run Database > User Accounts and Permissions. A window appears.
Select the database of your interest. All user accounts of the database will appear in the list below.
Create new or select an existing user account.
Use the buttons on the right to manage the account properties, duplicate it (along with the permissions settings), change the password, modify permissions (
), or even delete it.
