If there is an existing database created by NIS-Elements, you can connect to it via the 
Database > New Connection command:
Run
Database > New Connection. A window appears.Locate the database (*.MDB) file.
Confirm the action with .
Connections to databases can be managed via the Database > Manage Connections command.
