Before you can connect to a new database the structure of tables and fields, or at least the protection level shall be set:
Specify the file to be created.
Select one of the database templates. Each template consists of several predefined tables. If you choose Blank, no tables will be created (later you will have to use the Database > New Table
command). Click .Select the default protection of the database. The user accounts can be based on MS Windows accounts, or arbitrary number of database user accounts protected by password can be created. Or, the database can be fully accessible for all users - if the Not Protected option is selected. Click .
The database connection will be automatically created and connected. You can browse the database with the Organizer.
